Hi! Here’s Siyuan (柴思远)! I am a forth year Computer Science Ph.D. at UIUC advised by Prof. Tianyin Xu. I graduated from the BS/MS program at Northwestern University in Spring 2021. I have a broad interest in system research, and my current work focuses on operating systems, HW/SW codesgin for memory management, and AI systems. I am looking for research/swe intern positions for summer 2024.

At Northwestern, I worked closely with Prof. Peter Dinda on OS designs for new address translation designs. Even earlier, I was also part of Image and Video Processing Lab led by Prof. Aggelos Katsaggelos. I built AI/ML tools to understand medical imaging.
